*Disclaimer* this book is not for everyone. this book reads you and of what your mind is capable of - unlike other books that you read. #excruciating
Best to: this book is dark and sick yet a well-narrated novel; eloquent and efficient in moving feelings - trauma sincerely heartfelt; covering incidents that are vividly scary and painful #agonizing
Not an easy book to read. 700+ pages of an incredibly detailed life journey with underlying mental issues. You become the character and all that has happened unto you. At times, I felt like vomiting.
Best for: definitely not for the light-hearted or those suffering from depression; it covers mind demons with abuse, self-harm, and suicide.
Best as: this book really makes you think about how people are ruined by people and by themselves. It's very dark.
Random Thought: Who are you Hanya Yanagihara? How are you able to imagine, compose, and articulate such a gut-wrenching story? Even your ending was perfectly hurting.
Hurrr.... #sigh
