BATB score: 4/10 ☄️

point of clarification: I’ve never read The Little Prince and I would like to understand why there’s a The Little Prince exhibition in 2025; meh, I didn’t like it one bit 🙄

Best as: a simple, short, but yet very confusing story with numerous characters; the essence of the book requires a lot of deciphering

BATB lingering thought: people sharing their lessons learnt from The Little Prince, loneliness, love, friendship, and the loss of innocence, did you just make that up? because it is really subjective.

Best to: 1943, are we talking about WWII and the need for hope and imaginary escape? ahh, author was in exiled and is missing home; translated into 480 languages and over 200 million books sold, The Little Prince is one of the top three most sold book in the world 🤔

Best for: so many other cartoon characters that is more lovable - or is it the yellow scarf? 🧣

Best quotes: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.”

“You see, one loves the sunset when one is so sad.”
