BATB score: 3/10 ⌛️

yep, they both died at the end

Best to: a great plot line about how you get this death day alert on the day you will die so that you could make the best use of <24 hours that you have; about reminiscing, regretting, and trying to fully max out the <24 hours that you have

Best for: enthusiast of very slow novels 😴

Best as: actually, if Netflix makes a movie out of this and just touch on the futuristic ideas and social behaviours of death-cast calls, the Last Friend app, the Countdown-ers, the Make-A-Moment stations, and the travel the world in 80 minutes tours, it would have been pretty epic cool 😎

Best as: oh I am so sorry, so HBO is making a 30mins mini-series adaptation of the book to be released on October 4, 2022! okie let's!

Best quotes: “Because I refused to live invincibly on all the days I had, I wasted all those yesterdays and am completely out of tomorrows.”

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that's all." - Oscar Wilde

"No one goes on, but what we leave behind keeps us alive for someone else."

"Now that I don't have time to go anywhere, I want to go everywhere."

"No matter how we choose to live, we both die at the end."

BATB lingering thought: I am actually very okay if I die in the next 24 hours. I have done (to best of my abilities) to live every day like it's my last.
