BATB score: 3/10 💩
this book is.. bad... I wanted to kill myself
Best to: extremely difficult to read and follow through; at times, talking about some insightful species, then trying to link those species learnings to modern day implications, and then closing each chapter with 'corrective lens' key takeaways that had nothing to do with what was discussed in the chapter
Best for: try to finish this book without falling asleep, I challenge you!
Best as: there are good bits in there but it's just so poorly written; come come I pray for you
BATB nerd moment: so what's the best human diet (keto, vegan, paleo)? we need to go back to the origins of food aka objects whose sole purpose is to be eaten (in the first place) for the greater cause #deep for example, fruits are nature's bearings with the key purpose to be eaten by animals such as deers, the deers eat the fruit, then travel some distant, then poops out the fruit's seeds, the seed then grows into a fruit tree, and thus the fruit tree gets to populate; aka are naturally meant to be eaten, aka eat fruits
