BATB score: 8.8/10 ⭐
From concentration camp to a life sentence in hard-labour camp, how can an innocent 16-year-old girl survive? Shaved (both head and privates), starved, beaten, and raped, how can one still have hope?
Best to: read Heather Morris' "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" book first to understand what horrible things already happened and to continue with what other horrible things continued
Best for: there's nothing more cruel than the Nazi Concentration Camp 1933-1945 of what humans can do to other humans
Best as: after everything, how did one moved on and be normal again? to wake from a 10+ years nightmare, to board a train and start over all alone
