BATB score: 9/10 🖤

12 disciplines of leadership from U.S. Navy Seals - surprisingly very applicable to business leaderships - this is the type of management your team members would strongly appreciate 💯

Best to: when it's life or death, leadership is key; and even though in business, there's is no life or death per se, leadership is still key 🔑

BATB lingering thought: this book is extremely well-written, starting each chapter with anecdotal story tell from war in Iraq, concise practical principles, then business implications 10 10 10; who would have thought that ex-U.S. Navy Seals would have been better writers and life mentors than... consultants #lol

Best for: “If anyone was to be blamed and fired for what happened, let it be me.” Yes, none of your past managers demonstrated such extreme leadership. Yes, you are now team lead so you demonstrate such extreme leadership now!

Best as: being a people manager / team lead, if done well, is the biggest sacrifice one can give to humankind
