BATB score: 2/10š§
not all famous actors/actresses can be a worthwhile author - extremely non-captivating
Best as: anger-inducing book due to 29 chapters of the same content over and over again; extremely monotone with the most boring, insignificant anecdotal stories that do nothing for the readers
BATB lingering thought: so when you write a memoir at least it should be in chronological order from childhood to yesterday, include a few unseen pictures - photo book stuff, have either your own heartbreaking struggles - Netflix drama stuff, your words of wisdom for the readers - TedTalk standing ovation stuff, some intellectual research - scientific, legal, socioeconomic, white paper stuff, your unique transformation journey - dear diary stuff or bottomline some humor - comedy inc stuff
Best to: yes, gender dystopia + negative celebrity spotlight, yes, I support you, I feel for you, I just want you to be happy
Best for: a ghostwriter should help re-write this book; thereās a story there just need to squeeze the juice out of Juno
Best quotes: āIt was too much to play a role on-screen when the role I played in my personal life was suffocating me already.ā
āFalse ends and false starts, me fooling myself, justifying suppression and self-harm. Rewarded for lying and punished for sharing the secret.ā
āThe closet was grueling, it suffocated me. Stewing in my shame, exhausted, lonely, and depressed, I wished to be the person so many wanted me to be. It felt like the only option.ā
