Why We Sleep: Unlocking The Power of Sleep and Dreams by Matthew Walker, PhD

BATB score: 4.44/10
Dear Bill Gates (recommender of this book), this is not a book. This is a research paper.
Circadian rhythm, Adenosine, Melatonin, REM, nREM, narcolepsy, to lucid dream, this research paper takes sleep to its scientific and technical comprehension.
To be fair, it's a fun read to know that platypus dreams the most, that birds and dolphins can sleep half a brain at a time, that Thomas Edison systematically plans to collect his dream inputs, and sleepwalker murders are serious. Just that you need a lot of brainpower to consume all of that.
Best for: it's a research paper.
Best as: it's a research paper purely on sleep
