BATB score: 7/10 😬
okay but not wow about how feeling good boosts our creativity and productivity
Best to: only part 1 out of 3 is a BATB 10/10, part 2 was a knock off copy of Atomic Habits by James Clear, and part 3 was Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett; every section in this book is an elevator pitch
BATB lingering thought: book recommended to BATB by a renowned c-level.. could it be that he only read part 1?
Best as: take a break by taking a walk esp. take park walks alone and take street walks with a friend for the most optimal revitalization
Best for: a work-to-break ratio of fifty-two minutes of work to seventeen minutes of rest; easiest way to enjoy something unenjoyable is to ask yourself “how can I make this fun?”
Best quotes: “By doing less today, you can do more of what matters tomorrow.”
“Life isn’t about maintaining focus all the time. It’s about allowing space for little moments of serendipity and joy.”
“To tell the chronic procrastinator to just do it would be like saying to a clinically depressed person, cheer up.”
“Simply by becoming your own hype team you can dramatically impact your own productivity.”
“Being curious about everything not only makes you more creative. It enriches your life.”
“Success doesn’t lead to feeling good. Feeling good leads to success.”
