BATB score: 8/10 🕵️
easiest read in mankind. thank you Ray Dalio for dumbing the principles down for us to understand what you are trying to say 🙏
Best to: I feel like Ray Dalio is trying to squeeze out every money making opportunity while disgusting the attempt as 'the building of one's legacy' and 'sharing of one's learnings' #inspirational; this book is freaking expensive while the content is like itsy bitsy
Best for: raise your hand if you believed "Principles" by Ray Dalio (the thickass black book that writes like a syllabus [1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.3.1, 1.3.2] rather than like an actual book) was a hard book to swallow 🙋♀️🙋 this dumb down version is perfect for you (for me, for us)
Best as: this is a legit good night book 💤 for children / young adults with its cartoon graphics and key statements meant to be read and re-read until it haunts you likeas The Baby Shark song 🦈
Best gist: "Decide what to do, Have the courage to do it."
"Hyperrealist: someone who embraces reality and works with it well as it is - not someone who wishes it were different and complains that it is not to their liking."
"Dreams + Reality + Determination = a Successful Life"
"Goals. Problems. Diagnosis. Design. Do it."
p.s. Ray Dalio's principles are conflicting at times... just want to point it out..
