BATB score: 2/10 😔

omg shut up already! you know that one old leadership who kept talking, mentioning hallow frameworks, shouting some tacky quotes ā€œdifferentiate or dieā€, dumping more business terminology and acronyms where other words would have been sufficient, feeling like he is the smartest person in the room, but it’s only shit coins he’s holding on to?

Best to: a complete leadership playbook with all the frameworks you can reference to - enough for a lifetime, good for nobody

Best as: the whole book has everything but soul

Best for: Philip Kotler and Rich Horwath should be friends

BATB lingering thought: BATB score 2/10 due to very nice paper quality, IVY league textbook material; touching it brings back anxiety of not studying enough for the exams; ouuu sweaty palms

Best quote: ā€œA leader who manages a person who repeatedly exhibits one or more of these three forms of poison – negativity, bullying, and blaming – should only be asking one question: why am I allowing my best people – the high performers who represents our ideal values – to ingest this poison each and every day?ā€

This book is that poison. You’re dead to me. šŸ’€
