BATB score: 4/10 š§āāļø
Best to: just read the first part of this book (aka the first 83 pages) the second part of this book was quite difficult to follow through; likeas when you are in a serious meditation retreat and you secretly fall asleep
Best as: a reminder that āI am responsible for the way I am nowā and thus the good and the bad is a byproduct of the way I was and thus to improve such good and to fix such bad requires a direct action of the way I will be
Best for: extremely spiritual an inner search of well-being from the four dimensions - body, mind, emotion, energy #deepshit
Best quotes: āWhen everything you do is a success, you tend to start believing that the planets revolve around you, not the sun!ā
āWe are the most comfortable generation to have ever lived on this planet. The rub is that we are definitely not the most joyful, or the most loving, or the most peaceful.ā
āIf you still believe that someone āup thereā is going to rescue you and solve all your problems, just remember that you are living on a round planet - and the one thatās spinning. So, whenever you look up, you are obviously looking in the wrong direction.ā
"In affluent societies almost every fifth person is on some kind of medication just to maintain mental balance. When you have to take a tablet every day to remain sane, this is not joyfulness. You are on the verge of breaking down because you have made a small aspect of your life the whole of your life."
