BATB score: 9/10 💚
*disclaimer* I love Daniel H. Pink. He writes about such interesting behavioural psychological topics: drive, when, regrets - his research fascinates me about how everything can be so constructively explained and optimize for the better 👏 #dayum #socool #loveyou
Best to: it's a thorough research on the role of, the types of, the ways to handle, and the ways to optimize regrets; #legit learnt a lot!
Fun fact: did you know that 3rd place winners ['at least' I got a medal!] are usually happier than 2nd place winners ['if only' I sprint faster]? but then 2nd place winners would that take regretful feeling, train more, and do way better next time?
Best for: don't get a "No Regrets" tattoo because regret makes us human, makes us better, and gives us hope; thus, getting a "No Regrets" tattoo kinda makes you look silly
Best as: a reminder to have self-compassion and forgive your flaws ❣ super interesting book, easy read, constructive and knowledgeable - the very last chapter was just a little bit off
Best quote: “If you have a broken heart, it means you have done something big enough and important enough and valuable enough to have broken your heart.”
